2D Rigging Artist | Voltaku Studios ( 2022 - 2023 )
Working with the Shinsei Galverse entailed the Live2D rigging of 2,200 unique character traits that belong to the 8,888 characters in their narrative universe. This was something I executed single-handedly, and I do suspect set a precedent for VTubers in the Web3 space.

The master file was handed off to Shinsei Galverse, enabling them to export any combination of traits as a fully rigged 2D model. This model was then integrated with their Web3 backend, serving up files to NFT holders whose token corresponded with an individual character.

...but what good is a rigged character with no easy way to animate it?
Of course, I had long ago taken care of this problem via my independently developed XR VTubing application, VToobi.
CEO | Saltech LLC (2020 - 2021)
Co-Founder, CTO | Voltaku Studios Inc. (2021 - 2023)

I first started developing VToobi as an indie in 2020, under the application name of Vodcasto. My motivation to do so was to create a user-friendly app my friends and I could use while making our cartoon variety show!

The application uses facial motion capture to animate 2D avatars in real time, with additional features such as local multiplayer support, an AR camera overlay, and iOS integrated local file access. These features may sound common, but they were (and still are?) the first of their kind in a VTubing app!

Vodcasto was later acquired by VOLTAKU and rebranded as VToobi in partnership with our Shinsei Galverse project.
